Balmy Arctic

Balmy Arctic
Researchers in the Canadian Arctic have found fossil evidence that global warming also happened 90 million years ago. Bones of Champosaurs (crocodile-like dinosaurs) and other fossils show that millions of years ago the Arctic was warm. This warmth was probably due to seismic activity, like volcanos erupting, that released large amounts of carbon dioxide into the air and warmed the Earth.
