Spiders that hunt at night often have a special layer at the back of their big eyes. It acts like a mirror to bounce light back into the eyes. On a dark night, this reflected light makes the spider's eyes seem to glow!

UN warns on La Nina
The United Nations weather agency warns that La Nina, sister to Il Nino, the unpredictable and extreme weather pattern which has brought destruction to the world, is soon to pick up momentum. La Nina is predicted to bring heavy rains, hurricanes, drought and flooding to Southeast Asia, South America and Africa, places which are generally unaccustomed to such problems.
