Alligators bury their eggs with leaves, which then decompose at a temperature of 25?C (80?F) which is the optimum temperature for the eggs to hatch.
Strange fruit
Strange fruit Researchers have found that the number of flying
foxes being born with deformities in Queensland, Australia, is
increasing. They believe that the deformities are being caused by
bats eating foods which have been sprayed with pesticides or which
naturally contain chemicals that cause mutations. The flying foxes
are eating these different foods because of habitat destruction and
forest shrinkage. 21 NOVEMBER 1998, P. 15
