Unique wolves in B.C. rainforests A study has found that the wolves living in the
central coastal forests of B.C. are a "unique genetic variety," and
have one of the highest population densities in the world. These
wolves live in the heavily overgrown old growth forest and their
major source of food is the deer also living there. The study's
sponsor, Rain Forest Conservation Society, is concerned that
logging may harm the habitat and food supply of these
